Course Description

The basic industrial hygiene training course is a four-day program that provides an introduction to fundamental industrial hygiene principles. It is designed for entry-level industrial hygienists or technicians, safety professionals, and others who may have responsibilities related to industrial hygiene.

• Hands-on training is combined with classroom lectures to provide a practical understanding of industrial hygiene concepts.
• Students learn how surveys for air contaminants, noise, ventilation, heat, and illumination are planned and conducted.
• Students gain the skills to perform basic industrial hygiene measurements themselves.
