Course Description

The Certified Medic Basic Plus CPR & AED Safety Training Program is a comprehensive emergency response certification designed to equip employees, safety professionals, healthcare personnel, first responders, supervisors, and the general public with the essential life-saving skills needed to respond confidently during medical emergencies. This hands-on course combines CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation, and first aid training to help participants provide immediate care until advanced medical assistance arrives.

The program follows recognized emergency response practices and focuses on the prevention and management of sudden cardiac arrest, choking, breathing emergencies, severe bleeding, shock, and other life-threatening situations that may occur in the workplace, public environments, schools, healthcare facilities, or community settings. Participants will learn how to assess emergency scenes, activate emergency medical services (EMS), perform high-quality CPR, safely operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and provide basic first aid while protecting both the rescuer and the patient.

Training includes instructor-led demonstrations, realistic video scenarios, and extensive hands-on practice to develop practical skills and confidence. Students will gain experience performing adult, child, and infant CPR, responding to cardiac emergencies, controlling bleeding, managing injuries, and applying first aid principles in accordance with current emergency care guidelines.

Upon successful completion of the Certified Medic Basic Plus CPR & AED Safety Training Program, participants will possess the knowledge and practical skills required to respond effectively during medical emergencies, improve survival outcomes, support workplace safety initiatives, and contribute to a safer environment for employees, families, and communities.
